This is probably this strangest grouping of short stories I have ever read. Completely unexpected and actually quite funny in how random they are. I commend Kyle A. Massa for such original ideas and creative execution. He is clearly someone whose brain is running constantly with weird and wonderful thoughts. These shorts are like the unseen portions of stories we already know. The devil interaction is contrary to any I’ve ever seen. If the devil were real, what would interacting with them really be like? The job description the mad scientist puts out is very entertaining. How would a mad scientist adapt to or operate in the modern world? The search engine in love is a testament to the power of technology. Is it possible that AI will one day be developed to the point of having emotions?
I honestly think anyone of any age could enjoy these shorts. Especially if you love anything weird, wacky, or unexpected. Past, Present, Future. by Kyle A. Massa will really get you thinking and have you questioning some generally well known and accepted tropes and stories. All three can be read together in less than an hour and are sure to fit anywhere in your schedule. I’d definitely recommend giving these shorts a read.
