I recently ran out of books to read. So, of course, I bought more books.
Here’s what I bought (all items will be linked):
The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie

The Mysterious Affair at Styles is the first book in Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot mystery series. I love Agatha Christie, so this book was a must-buy for me. I am happy to have it in my collection.
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

A classic coming-of-age novel, this story follows the lives of the March sisters as they become women. I’ve been hearing a lot about this book lately, especially with the new movie release, so I thought I would give it a read.
Liar Liar by James Patterson + Candice Fox

Liar Liar follows Detective Harriet Blue as she hunts for her brother’s murderer and runs from the law. I love a good detective story and thought this would be an exciting read.
The Mistress by Danielle Steel

The Mistress is a story of a woman rescued off the streets by a wealthy man who gives her a life of luxury and only asks that she doesn’t pay attention to his business. She lives a good life until love enters the picture. This book is something out of the ordinary from what I usually choose, but I thought I would give it a try.
The James Bond Collection by Ian Flemming

I’ve seen tidbits of some of the James Bond movies and had no idea there were books. When I came across this boxed set, I couldn’t resist taking the opportunity to discover what this famous spy is all about. There is a good chance that I will watch the movies to compare at some point.
These are all the books that I purchased in April. They should keep me going for a while, and I look forward to reading them and sharing my thoughts with you, whoever you are, that is reading this.
Thank you for visiting my blog, and have a lovely day.
